Looking at the sky, the question arises in the mind that what are the planets and constellations? Why do some of these hide during the day and some at night? Why don’t all the planets sink together? Why does the sun rise every day from the east?
Because of these questions, man began to see, examine and understand the planets and stars of the sky. Gradually, the movement of planets and constellations began to be understood by man. He began to relate the events around him to the movements of planets and constellations and thus became a scripture, which we now call astrology. The authentic definition of astrology is in the Vedas.
‘Astrology Suryadi Grahananam Bodhikram Shastra’ This means that the science which gives knowledge of planets (planets, constellations, comets etc.) and time is called astrology i.e. the science which provides astrology. In a way, it is a scripture to guide the way. The scripture that shows the light of the world, the mystery of life and death and the joy and sorrow of life is the same astrology. In this sense, he sits closer to spirituality and philosophy than astronomy.
It is believed that astrology originated in India, as the background of Indian astrology is more than 8000 years old. The major astrologers of Indian astrology and the special texts written by him-
1. Parashar Muni Vridha Parashar, Hora Shastra
2. Varah Mihir Vriha Samhita, the elder, the minor
3. Bhaskaracharya Siddhanta Shiromani 4. Shridhar jataka tilak
Some other well known texts of astrology are:
1. Surya Siddhant
2. Small mercury
3. Fal Deepika
4. Jataka Parijat
5. Maan Sagari
6. Bhav pakash
7. bhav kutuhal
8. Bhaartha Ratnakara 9. Muhurta Chintamani
1. The concept of Indian astrology basically rests on nine planets. Seven planets are considered to be main in this and two are called shadow planets. Sun is king, Moon is minister, Mercury scribe, Jupiter guru, Venus priest, Shani Rajput and shadow planet Rahu, Chandal Ketu is untouchable.
2. Life will not be possible on the day when the main light of life will not be on this earth, hence in astrology, the sun is called the king of planets and time is calculated by considering it as the base.
The light and constellations of all the planets have an effect on all living things and things on the earth. Due to the different angle of illumination of planets at different places, there is a difference in intensity of light.
Its effect also varies with time. According to the environment in which the organism lives, the related elements in it become heavy or light. Each has its own specialty. For example, a person born in a particular place has a different nature and shape than the person born at the same place due to the characteristics of the planets falling in that place.
In this way, astrology is not an enchantment or a miracle, but a branch of science.
The study of science is broadly divided into two parts: –
1. Physics Science
2. Applied Science
Under physics, scientists make a design by studying the causes and consequences of any event. They then introduce the equation, which is confirmed by the results and facts of the physical experiment.
In practical science, we study causes and their effects and design which factors can produce what effects? For example, Nobel Laureate Dr. Amartya Sen gave a new theory to economics.
In this, economic growth has been linked to literacy rate. His theory is based on the data obtained from the census. In the same way, astrologers also make orders by systematically studying the effects of solar system on humans and analyzing the data collected.
Thus astrology is similar to science, in which the effect of planetary constellations on human life is studied on a logical and mathematical basis and based on the available data and information, information about the present, past and future of a human being is given.
If astrology is not used as a miracle or superstition, it can be proved very useful in your life.
